"Prayer Request"

Update on Tristan,

I am so in awe of our Awesome God.  Today, a representative from a program called Ready Start,(I think that was the name), came to evaluate the baby for their program.  It is a program for babies who usually have been born premature and diagnosed with PVL, as Tristan has been.  With her was a occupational therapist.  These two ladies said they could not qualify Tristan for this program, as she did not exhibit anything other than "NORMAL BABY BEHAVIOR"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  When Michelin, the baby's mom, called and told me, I wept tears beyond joy.  Our God is so wonderful, just and merciful.  I praise HIs Holy Name for this blessing.  Now they are saying if Michelin gets concerned about her progress, they will come back out, but we are believing in our risen Saviour, that that will never happen.  Thank you for all your prayers and continued prayers for our little angel.  She is now over 10 lbs and is precious beyond words.  We love you all and appreciate you and your prayers and kindness.  We are elatedm, to say the least.  Praise be to God, from whom ALL Blessings flow.

And Tristan and parents.

We would like to ask prayer for our good friend, Lewis Hill.  He lives in Lake Charles, LA and almost died a few months ago, due to heart problems.  He is now in ICU again, with heart problems.  Please remember him and his family in your prayers.  I will try to keep you updated.  We appreciate all of you and know their are others to pray for, as well.  We love you.

PLEASE JOIN ME IN PRAYING....

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST....

Hi Carole,
Mary Manry's daughter needs urgent prayer. I went to the hospital today, to be with Mary. They tried to put the stents in her arteries, but they couldn't get the arteries to open up, the Dr tried several ways, but the stent could not get in the artery. So, tomorrow at 2:30 Sheree's Dr, is going to do a procedure, where they will cut the main artery in abdomen, and clamp it off and then will go to the groin area, and cut those arteries, and attach a thing that looks like a wish bone and do a by pass and put the artifical arteries in both legs. This is very serious surgery, so please everyone be in prayer for her, and also for her son and husband, and Mary. Pray for healing and for a miracle.
Thank you for your prayers,
Carolyn Vaughn
Thank you Carole for sending this out for me.
Blessings

Please say a prayer for my youngest brother Bruce. He had a severe pancreatic attack on Sunday and has been critical ever since. His heart and kidneys and lungs and liver are not working well. Some of his numbers have improved during the week, but I just heard from my mom that the doctors have only given him a 25% chance to pull through. As late as yesterday it was 60%. Also pray for his wife Laura, and two daughters ages 8 and 5.

My other siblings and I spent the day with him in San Antonio on Tuesday. This is the first negative report we've had in a couple of days so it is rather distressing.

If you are interested in reading the journal entries or adding to the guestbook, there is a caring bridge site set up for him. I don't think any of you have met him, but I know you will join me in fervent prayer at this time.

Dear Friends and Family,

Most of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer this month.  May family and I could really use your prayers Thanks. Oh, and don't worry, it's small and treatable. Just a lot of decisions to make regarding surgery.

I created a CaringBridge site to keep you up to date on what's going on with my illness and recovery. This will help me so I won't miss anybody when I have news or info. CaringBridge is a nonprofit organization that helps friends and families stay connected. Feel free to pass this on to anybody you think may be interested in updates.
